Forbes Ranks Giants As 3rd Most Valuable NFL Team; Jets 8th

The Giants are again the NFL’s third most valuable franchise, according to Forbes magazine’s annual list.

The Giants, who are valued at $3.3 billion, trail only the Dallas Cowboys ($5 billion) and New England Patriots ($3.8 billion), who were also ranked in the top two last year. The Cowboys have topped the list each of the last 12 years.

The Jets came in eighth, up one spot from 2017. 

The Giants' total worth stayed flat from a year ago. Their annual revenue during the 2017 season was estimated to be $493 million. 

The Jets are valued at $2.85 billion, up from $2.75 billion last year. Their annual revenue was believed to be $443 million. 

The average NFL team is worth $2.57 billion, up 2 percent from last year but the smallest increase since 2010.

Rounding out the top five were the Los Angeles Rams ($3.2 billion) and Washington Redskins ($3.1 billion). 

The Buffalo Bills ($1.6 billion) came in last.
