The Giants are receiving a fifth-round pick in exchange for the All-Pro defender, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday.
Big Blue signed Harrison as a free agent before the 2016 season, giving the former Jet a five-year, $46.25 million contract.
In his first season with New York, Harrison registered 86 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks and was voted a first-team All-Pro. The 6-foot-3, 355-pound defensive tackle had 76 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks in 2017. Through seven games this season, Harrison, 29, had 31 tackles but no sacks.
After losing to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night, the Giants are 1-6.
