Do you think your school choir is the best in the Philly area? Do you want to give them the opportunity to showcase their amazing talent to the entire Delaware Valley? If your answer is a resounding YES, then enter your choir in B101's 2026 Christmas Choir Competition!
Our competition is open to all school choirs in the Philly eight-county area! There are two divisions - the Kindergarten through 8th-grade Division, and the 9th through 12th-grade Division. Choir Directors, submit your choirs now and if it's easier this year it can be a smaller group or even a soloist.
We are giving away $16,000 in prizes to area school music programs this year!
First place winners in both divisions will have their choir's song featured on B101 throughout the holidays and the school's music program will win a cash prize of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS!
Plus, the choirs will be invited to perform their winning song during the Philly Pops: A Philly Holiday Spectacular on Sunday, December 13th, and special recognition at Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Ghosts of Christmas Eve on December 20th!
Second place winners in each division receive a $2,000 cash prize and third place winners receive a $1,000 cash prize - all to benefit their school music programs.
The period to submit your song entries will be October 5, 2026 through November 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. We look forward to hearing your school's choir!
The 9th-12th Grade Division of the B101 Christmas Choir Competition is sponsored by Gwynedd Mercy University - Where Mercy Makes A Difference
