Alyssa Brown is a nurse at Virtua Mount Holly Hospital who provides care to patients in the stroke and med-surg unit. A family member of one of her patients described Alyssa as "a gem of a human being." The family member also said: "In my 27 years of working in health care, I can't think of a nurse who is more focused and dedicated than Alyssa." What's interesting is that Alyssa is a young adult with only one year of nursing experience—demonstrating that we can learn a great deal from the next generation.
