In celebration of the 35 year anniversary of New Kids On The Block on April 24, 2024, Jordan Knight of the Kids sat down with Jenn & Bill of B101 Philly to chat all things New Kids On The Block Day, how fans can celebrate, what we can expect for the band's 'Magic Summer Tour,' plus the evolution of boy bands.

As the band is getting ready to kick off their Magic Summer Tour in just a few short weeks, Jordan took us through the emotions that come along with tour life.
"We're always excited [...] we always look forward to touring because we get to go around the country, we get to see new people, we get to see old friends, we get to make people laugh, and smile, and cry, and dance, and all that kind of stuff, and we get to do it ourselves [...] it's a way to just be Kids again."
While the Boys are headlining their tour, Jordan also shares special guests are set to open.
"It's us, and it's also Paula Abdul, and DJ Jazzy Jeff. Paula Abdul has toured with us before, and she's got great songs, great hits that everyone's gonna know and love. She's y'know, always just so talented and beautiful [...] Jazzy Jeff, he's gonna, like kind of get the crowd goin. He's gonna mix a lot of records, kind of like we're in a club, basically get everyone excited and ready to go, and then we're just gonna hit the stage and sing all our hits." Jordan even gave a sneak peak of what songs are making the setlist.
"All the big songs - 'Step by Step," 'I'll Be Loving You (Forever)' 'Right Stuff,' 'Hangin, Tough,' 'Cover Girl,' 'Please Don't Go Girl,' 'Didn't I (Blow Your Mind,)' it goes on and on."
As they celebrate their 35 year milestone, Knight also dives into how it feels to being a part of paving the way for boy bands over the years.
"I do feel like we're definitely a part of the evolution of the boy band. I think we did kind of usher in like the new age boy band. We're definitely a part of that history."
