I love margaritas. They make me happy, so I'd love to pass that happiness along to you. This summer, I'm sharing my absolute favorite spots to sip a great marg, whether you're staying local, heading down the shore, or escaping to the mountains. Cheers!
South Philadelphia
La Llorona | Watermelon Margarita

La Llorona in South Philly is the perfect place to hit before heading to the ballpark. Their watermelon margarita is refreshing, well-crafted, and just what you want on a summer night. The atmosphere is buzzing and the food is equally worth your time. Make it a full evening.
Multiple Locations
Plaza Azteca | Skinny Margarita + Prickly Pear

Don't overlook a chain — Plaza Azteca earns its reputation through consistency. Their skinny margarita is perfectly balanced no matter which location you walk into. And if you're having a second round? Go for the prickly pear margarita. You won't regret it.
Media, PA
La Catrina | Blood Orange Margarita

Media is one of my favorite towns to visit for dinner and drinks. La Catrina's blood orange margarita is delicious — vivid, citrusy, and served with a black salt rim that takes the whole drink to another level.
Cape May, NJ
Taco Caballito | Classic Margarita

If you're making the full shore run all the way to Cape May, Taco Caballito is a must. Never underestimate a good traditional margarita. There's live music on the first floor, and honestly, is there anything better than a great margarita and live music by the beach! I think not.
Hawley, PA · Near Lake Wallenpaupack
Ravyn & Robyn - A Hidden Gem in the Poconos | Hibiscus Margarita with Tajín Rim

If you're a lake person and head to the Poconos this summer, visit Ravyn & Robyn in Hawley, PA. This family-owned restaurant near Lake Wallenpaupack is my favorite. Christian is a cocktail genius, and his hibiscus margarita with a tajín rim is one of the best drinks I've had anywhere, period.
BONUS TIP: Weekend getaway alert -About 10 minutes away is Fairview Lake Hideaway, an adorable airbnb cabin on a small lake. Book a stay, visit for dinner, and you've just planned the perfect Poconos escape. You're welcome.

"Have a great margarita summer!"
Sip responsibly. Explore often. Enjoy every last drop.
