There’s an Elton John tribute concert in Sea Isle that proves you don’t have to say farewell to the yellow brick road just yet. Sing along to your favorite southern hits in Wildwood Crest. There’s plenty to do this weekend: It’s the Buzz at the Beach!
Seafarers Weekend

Come young and old, salty and bold on a pirate adventure at Historic Cold Spring Village. Hear thrilling pirate tales, laugh your belly off, meet pirates and listen to beautiful sea shanties. There will also be delicious Pennsylvania Dutch funnel cakes on deck which you can wash down with artisanal sodas. The weekend-long event begins on Saturday, August 19 at 11 a.m. at 735 Seashore Rd. in Cape May. General admission tickets to enter the village start at $12.
Concert Under the Stars: Elton John

We don’t have to say farewell to the yellow brick road just yet. Yellow Brick Road, A Tribute to Elton John, hails all the way from Augusta, Maine to give you the performance of a lifetime. The show will be complete with an incredible light show and sound system that’s only comparable to the real thing! The free show starts Saturday, August 19 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Excursion Park at 2 41st Street in Sea Isle City.
Ocean City Green Fair

Who doesn’t want a little more green in their life? The Ocean City Green Fair is a community-wide event dedicated to educating people of all ages about sustainability. There will be informative displays, interactive activities and prizes for anyone who attends. The free event will be held under the covered loggia of the Ocean City Music Pier from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2023.
Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series

Gather ‘round with your blankets and beach chairs country fans for a Shot of Southern. The musical act is performing your favorite modern country hits and bringing along local country acts. The free, family-friendly event starts on Saturday, August 19 at 7 p.m. at Centennial Park, Fern Road and Ocean Avenue in Wildwood Crest.
Cape May Stage: Art by Yasmina Reza

Let’s take a trip to Paris! Well, kind of. The Tony award-winning play Art by Yasmina Reza focuses on the meaning of art and friendship. The comedic play features a battle of wits between three friends as they grapple with the age-old questions about art, relationships and themselves. The play runs from now until Sunday, August 27 at 8 p.m. at the Cape May Stage on 405 Lafayette St. in Cape May. Tickets start at $35.
