Netflix released the first trailer for He’s All That, which stars Rae as an influencer who tries to turn her classmate (Tanner Buchanan) into a prom king.
“He's All That reimagines the original plot of the 1999 teen classic She’s All That,” a description of the film reads. “The contemporary story follows an influencer (Addison Rae) who accepts a challenge to turn the school’s biggest loser (Tanner Buchanan) into prom king.”
The film is set to premiere on Netflix on August 27 and will star Kourtney Kardashian, Myra Molloy, Madison Pettis, Peyton Meyer, Matthew Lillard, Annie Jacob and Isabella Crovetti.
Rachael Leigh Cook, who played Laney Boggs in the 1999 film, will appear in the film playing the role of Rae’s mother.
He’s All That represents Rae’s film debut as well as the debut of her good friend Kourtney Kardashian.
Rae is supposedly gearing up to release an album, which fans are sitting on pins and needles for as it will address her break up with Bryce Hall.
Addison said in a recent interview the inspiration for her upcoming music came from “experiences that I've gone through or feelings that I've had and just different mindsets that I've kind of been in over the past year.”
While she didn’t call Hall out by name, she did say that relationship was a “big part” of her life and those “experiences and memories” are still “pretty fresh” on her mind.
