SOUTH JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — While the temperature certainly feels like the middle of summer, this weekend marks the official end of the season down the shore, and a bunch of beach towns are making the most of it. Country music star Miranda Lambert will kiss summer goodbye with a show at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. Comedian Gabriel Iglesias will bring a night of laughs to the Borgata. The Tomato Festival in Cape May returns. Plus: a Skee-Ball championship, an end-of-summer block party, and much more this Labor Day weekend.

Miranda Lambert concert
Country music star Miranda Lambert — known for her powerhouse vocals and boot-stomping, chart-topping hits like “The House That Built Me” and “Little Red Wagon” — will perform at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on Saturday night.

Gabriel Iglesias show
The “fluffy” man himself is making his way to Atlantic City for a stand-up comedy special event Saturday night at the Borgata. In addition to stand-up comedy, Gabriel Iglesias is a successful actor and executive producer.

Skee-Ball tourney
How are your arcade skills? The Ed’s Funcade World Championship Skee-Ball Tournament will put them to the test on Saturday in Wildwood. The tournament is free for all to enter. The first-place winner gets the “Boardwalk Cup” — and a $1,000 gift card.

Tomato Festival
Celebrate all things tomato at Cape May’s Tomato Festival on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be live music, fresh produce (tomatoes, of course), food, vendors and more.

Summer concert send-off
On Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., say goodbye to summer nights with one final concert on the beach in Cape May, featuring Fat Mezz.

End-of-summer block party
On Sunday, get one last taste of the sun, sand and surf at Wildwood’s end-of-summer block party. There will be live music, children’s entertainment, food and craft vendors, and more from 1 to 10 p.m. at Fox Park, located on Ocean Avenue across from the Wildwoods Convention Center.
