Legendary WIP radio host Angelo Cataldi is going into the Philadelphia Sports Hall Of Fame, a honor he will share with former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb, who was inducted in 2019.
"Well, I wasn't aware of that, but now I am going to decline the honor," Cataldi joked on Wednesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "You know what would be really good, before they introduce me, he gets a whole bunch of people to boo me. That would be great. I would love that."
Of course, Cataldi is famous for organizing a group of fans called the "Dirty 30" to go to the 1999 NFL Draft in New York. The fans booed McNabb when he was selected No. 2 overall for the Eagles.
"I think they made a mistake and secondly, I got to tell you Joe, I am looking at the inductees. They have a very large class....I know I ripped Ryan Howard and Chase Utley...Awkward! I have a feeling I am going to have avoid some of these people before we actually sit down. But it's a great honor, honestly, seriously."
Here is the full list of inductees:
A. W. Tillinghast

Angelo Cataldi
Brendan Hansen

Cheryl Reeve
Eddie Stanky
George Benton
Jameer Nelson
