Angelo Cataldi made his pick for Philadelphia Eagles 2022 starting quarterback on Tuesday morning after weeks of hearing debates from 94WIP hosts and compiling poll results as part of 94WIP's Picks The QB.

"Ladies and gentleman, the Eagles quarterback for the year 2022 will be...Russell Wilson!" Cataldi exclaimed on Tuesday.

"There were two things that made me go with my final decision. I was looking for signs and I got two great signs in the final 24 hours before I made my decision. The first sign came Sunday afternoon in New York City. I was watching the Philadelphia 76ers with a brand new superstar James Harden and I realize something, I had what you call an epiphany. And I realized when you add a great player to a team you are not just adding a great player, you're adding a whole new dynamic. You are taking other players and changing who they are, and changing the way they see each other."

"Russell Wilson is the only player available who will do that for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is still young enough, he is still talented enough, and he is still the kind of player that could raise the game of other great players."

Sign number two, for Angelo, was a written piece by Jimmy Kempski of The Philly Voice on Wilson titled, Should the Eagles trade for Russell Wilson?

Cataldi then had Kempski come onto the show and further discuss his piece and the possible acquisition of Wilson.
