The Phillies are removing their out-of-town scoreboard at Citizens Bank Park and replacing it with a completely digital version for the 2024 season and beyond, according to Phillies Nation's Tim Kelly.
Many fans in the comment section appear to be upset with the change, which created a cool, nostalgic visual at the ballpark. Now the digital boards will give the Phillies the ability to flash a variety of different graphics, stats, scores, and ads in that area.
The Phillies, who begin Spring Training play on Saturday, open the regular season at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday, March 28th against the Atlanta Braves.
