It appears Dallas Cowboys fans booed and threw trash at quarterback Dak Prescott during their team's ugly 19-3 loss on Sunday night to the Bucs.
Prescott was running to the locker room with a broken right thumb while the fans booed and threw trash him. Prescott will have surgery on the thumb and will likely miss six to eight weeks.
Even before the injury, however, Dallas' offense was putrid. Prescott completed just 14 of 29 passes for 134 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception, while taking two sacks.
Ironically, in the Cowboys' 2021 Wildcard playoff loss to the 49ers, Prescott voiced support of the fans who threw trash at the refs, later apologizing for his comments.
The Eagles face the Cowboys in Week 6 on October 16th on Sunday Night Football at the Linc.
