Frank: 'Howie Roseman does not want to pick at No. 32 overall'

Eagles insider Reuben Frank says Howie Roseman does not want to stay at 32nd overall and hopes to make a trade either up or down in next week's NFL Draft.

"I don't think he's going to pick at 32 anyway," Frank told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Thursday's 94WIP Morning Show. "He came out and said the other day...'We don't have 32 first round grades.' Now, look it might not be possible to trade out of that spot because other teams probably feel the same way...You know Howie wants to get out of 32, he doesn't want to pick there...He's going to try and get out of there. He'll get some more picks or just do the Howie kind of thing, but I think he may not have a choice because I don't think anybody is clamoring to get to 32 either."

Roseman and the Eagles have been on a roll of late, hitting on draft picks at an absurd rate. But is it sustainable?

"They've lost like 10 top scouts," Frank said of the Eagles' recent draft success. "I think the big thing is that Howie listens now. Where I think before, like before he got demoted for that year, I don't think he was a good listener. I don't think he was a good collaborator. And I think he understands talent more. I think he has a better eye for talent which I think makes a huge difference...But yeah they're on a roll. These last four drafts, every top four round guy, I think other than Zack McPhearson, has ended up being a serious contributor.

"They're going to Super Bowls with home grown talent and I don't see that stopping and that's why they're going to be good for a long time. Did you know Howie became the first GM in history, this is crazy, to draft a Pro Bowler in the second round in four straight years. Miles [Sanders], Jalen [Hurts], Landon Dickerson and Cam Jurgens. Four straight Pro Bowlers. So yeah, he's on a roll."
