If Kyle Brandt is Philadelphia's national analyst hero, Chris Simms is definitely Philadelphia national analyst villain.
But at this point, Simms just looks silly.

This week the former NFL QB said he would still take Daniel Jones over Jalen Hurts as a passer, days after the Eagles demolished the Giants 38-7 in the NFC Divisional Playoffs.
"Maybe not as good a runner, but we know he's really close," Simms said comparing Jones to Hurts. "Again, if you’re gonna ask me who I’d rather have as a passer, I’d rather have Daniel Jones. I'm sorry about that."
Back in December, before Hurts' injury, Simms said of Hurts: “There’s just no way he’s more valuable than Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow, no way. If Minshew is in, the Eagles are still damn good. I’m sorry.”
And back in 2021, Simms infamously left Hurts off of his top 40 QB list.
