94WIP Midday Show co-host and former Eagle Jon Ritchie made his pitch to Angelo Cataldi on Tuesday, explaining who he feels the Eagles should pursue for their 2022 starting quarterback.
"Deshaun Watson," Ritchie said. "And I did not start here. I started saying Jalen Hurts is the guy, they told us he's the guy, he's gonna grow, he's gonna improve. Deshaun Watson is the best quarterback available in the NFL right now. And I know people talk about Aaron Rodgers, they talked about Russell Wilson. Do you realize we got the 14th best chance to get Russell Wilson and the 12th best chance to get Aaron Rodgers. They're not coming here.
"This statement goes with the knowledge that Deshaun will be found innocent. I am hoping that that's the case."

Howard Eskin also made the case for Watson.
On Monday, a judge ruled that Watson can face questions under oath in at least some of the 22 civil cases filed against him by women who have accused him of harassment/sexual assault during massages.
"He's that good of a player and the Eagles need to know what they're getting into," Ritchie admitted. "I am basing this on the assumption that he's innocent, and he might not be."
