Can the Eagles quickly get back there? Is this thing a quick fix? Joe Giglio thinks Howie Roseman will have his work cut out for him, as there are only seven players he feels good about going forward.
"I don't think this is a very quick," Giglio said on Friday's 94WIP Midday Show with Hugh Douglas. "Now, Howie is capable of fixing things maybe faster than most executives in the NFL...But I look at this team, I don't think this is a quick fix.
"I just looked at their depth chart right now...I've got seven players on the Eagles I feel really good about—five play offense, yep."
The players Giglio listed that he feels good about are: Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Landon Dickerson, Lane Johnson, Haason Reddick, and Jalen Carter.
A little bit later, Giglio admitted, "Maybe you throw [Jordan] Mailata in there, maybe eight."
Douglas believes that's enough.
"That's not enough," Giglio replied. "Seven? No! You need 15!"
