Saquon Barkley on Jalen Hurts: 'Most poised human being I've ever been around'

Saquon Barkley had some serious praise for his teammate Jalen Hurts after Sunday's emotional Eagles win in New Orleans.

"He's the most poised human being I've ever been around in my life," Barkley said of Hurts. "He doesn't get flustered, never too high, never too low. Only been around him for however many months, I learned a lot from his as a player and as a man too. He's the leader of this team...It's all about how you respond...He just comes in the huddle and says everything is going to be alright...You can just see it, you don't even got to say much."

Hurts, who threw his fourth interception of the season early in the game and then lost a fumble as well, bounced back to orchestrate a game-winning five-play 69-yard touchdown drive as the Eagles improved to 2-1 with a 15-12 win over the Saints.

The highlight of the drive was a 61-yard catch and run by Dallas Goedert. Goedert said after the game Hurts saw the coverage and made sure the Eagles were in the right play before the snap.
