The Philadelphia 76ers led the Atlanta Hawks 87-69 after three quarters in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals Wednesday, and still managed to lose the game at home.
After being outscored 40-19 in the fourth quarter, Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and the Sixers are a loss away from heading home in the second round of the postseason for the third time in four years.
As you can imagine, social media laid into the Sixers for quite a bit after a disastrous performance against the Hawks:
