"Peanuts" films are a staple of the holiday season. Initially, upset fans were under the impression that the films wouldn't be shown on network television this holiday season. After some backlash, Apple has teamed up with PBS to ensure this isn't the case.
Every season, the whole family gathers around to watch classic like "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving," and "A Charlie Brown Christmas."
The Halloween film wasn't shown on TV as it traditionally was due to Apple TV+ having exclusive rights to the film in 2020, but the streaming service has now agreed to allow PBS to show the Thanksgiving & Christmas films this holiday season.
“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” is set to air on Nov. 22 at 7:30PM while “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will air on Dec. 13th at 7:30PM. Both will air ad-free.
You can also watch each for free for limited periods on Apple TV+. "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will be available from Nov. 25-27 & "A Charlie Brown Christmas" will be available from Dec. 11-14.
