Zooming in to chat with Audacy’s Bru, Ava Max talked about her excitement to release new music, plus, how her next album will differ from what we’ve come to expect from her, and more.

“I'm really excited to release new music at the top of the year, even though I just released some music right now,” Ava expressed. “Like there is just so much more I want to release, but I have to wait for a couple of months.”

Admittedly still working on the visuals for her single “Spot A Fake,” which she says the music video for should arrive “at the top of the year,” noting “I know the fans are waiting.” That being said, “I just have so many more records that I want to put out at the top the year as well,” Ava expressed. “I’m probably just gonna put out three records,” the singer said with a laugh, “I just want to give them everything, I don't want to hold on to it anymore. I want the album to come out, I want just everything to be there.”

With no scheduled timeline for these promised projects to roll out, Ava noted, “I’m very blessed right now to be in a place where I can do whatever I want. I feel like I have the creative freedom… A lot of things changed this year… I’m at a place where I can just put out music anytime I want, which I'm very excited about.” The next thing you’ll hear from Ava arrives next month. "It's a K-pop feature,” she shared.

Ava went on to say how after being extremely busy working, traveling, and what-not this summer, “I kind of had time to reset and figure out what I really wanted for this next album. I didn't want to just put an album together and put it out.”

Sharing a bit about what to expect from the upcoming project, Ava said, “this new album has like slower songs, some Pop, Rock, Country records that the fans have never heard from me. And a couple of records that I think are the best records I've ever made in my entire life. Which I'm very excited about that for people to hear.”

Ava also chatted about, “One Wish,” her recent holiday season drop, noting, “I had to drop that too. I'm a big Christmas person, so I'm like in it now and I was just taking in everything new for the year.”

As Bru and Ava’s conversation continued, they talked about the amount nostalgia plays in when it comes to her music making process, what from our generation she thinks will still be around when she’s 90, upcoming performances, and more. To catch it all, check out Ava’s entire interview above.
