Seeing Lenae with her chart-topping track, "Love Me Not," and her on stage swagger is much different now than the first time Mack caught Ravyn live, when she was opening for SZA in 2017.

"That was probably like one of the most important tours I've done," see remembers. "Being able to see SZA have her rise in that moment and kind of have a front seat at it, was really special, and I think, you know, when you see what it takes to have that type of impactful moment in your career, it really inspires you."

If she could go back to 2017 Ravyn, she would tell her "to keep leaning into exactly who she is."

"I think in hindsight it's so important to just lean into who you are and not get distracted by what else is going on or what's popular, what's trendy, because what you're doing eventually becomes popular and trendy, so just stick to who you are."

After a whirlwind year and an amazing rise to new heights, Lenae says she's ready for what's next. "I'm really excited to be dropping my album. It's almost done," she reveals. But when asked if there's a title Ravyn was quick to shut it down. "I can't say that yet."
