Back in February, the New York Times published a shocking exposé where it was revealed that 11 women have come forward with allegations against the couple and their entourage. Now, in a report from Page Six, three more women have come forward. The most recent claims include one woman claiming the Harrises “pulled out a pill and forced her to swallow it” when they met in Miami in 2010. Later that night, it was reported the woman was taken to a hotel in South Beach where the rapper “forced her to take a powdered substance from his finger" and Tiny “undressed her and proceeded to engage in sexual intercourse.” The woman stated “she could not consent.”
All three women have retained the same lawyer, Tyrone A. Blackburn and each have similar stories. Another woman accused T.I. and a male friend of “drugging and raping” her while the other alleges she was “drugged and sex trafficked” across three states. The Harrises’ legal counsel, Steve Sadow, spoke on their behalf to Billboard. Sadow states, “the Harrises are still waiting for the accusers to reveal themselves publicly. By continuing to hide behind anonymous allegations, the unnamed accusers effectively render themselves not credible and unworthy of belief. We say: Let the light shine on their identities so we can go about disproving these scurrilous accusations.”
In Blackburn’s statement to the New York Times, he said, “the alleged incidents took place between 2005 to 2018 and were described as instances of 'sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats and false imprisonment,' as well as nonsexual intimidation, assault and harassment.”
Initial claims of sexual abuse came in January when Sabrina Peterson accused T.I. of putting a gun to her head. She also posted over 30 accusations from other alleged victims. At that time, in a joint statement, the Harrises expressed, “Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson. The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don't end, they will take appropriate legal action." Last month, Peterson filed a defamation lawsuit against the Harrises and is suing them for “libel, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress, among other causes of action,” as reported via Billboard.
