During a zoom visit to The Drew Barrymore Show, Travis Barker discussed all Machine Gun Kelly and Tickets to My Downfall related things and gave Drew some advice about dating when you’re a parent.

After discussing his evolution, expanding from drummer in a band, to producer, writer, collaborator and owner his own cannabinoid-infused Barker Wellness line, Drew asked the blink-182 drummer for a bit of dating advice, since she’s newly back in the game.

Drew inquired from Travis if he thought it better to seek out other single parents or go for someone who doesn't have kids. To which Barker admitted, "I've done both," but at the moment, is famously involved with the former. As both are single parents to broods of three; Barker to daughter Alabama, 15, and son Landon, 17, plus stepdaughter Atiana, 21, and Kourtney Kardashian to Mason, 11, Penelope, 8 and Reign, 6.

To our dismay, seeing as they’ve vowed to “destroy each other completely,” Travis never actually used the words dating, girlfriend or mention Kourtney's name for that matter. However, he did say he is “spending time with a woman,” when referring to his current very well-known lady love.

"Up until now, I would date girls who didn't have kids, and I find it kind of hard, because I think they would have trouble understanding, like 'Why don't you want to go to dinner every night with me? Or why don't you want to see me every night?,'" to which Drew nodded in agreement.

"And now, I'm spending time with a woman who's a great mom, who's a great friend, and you don't have to worry about any of those things. It just comes natural," he continued. "It's a maturity thing. And I also like missing someone and cherishing the time that I spend with them, instead of every day being with them, especially in the beginning of the relationship. I think missing someone's so important.”

We’re not exactly sure when the longtime friends officially became a couple, but news of of the reported relationship broke in January. With the two confirming by making it Instagram official one month later when Kourt shared a photo of their intertwined hands.

Okay well that's the relationship tea portion of the conversation. Check out everything else Barker had to say in his full interview with Barrymore below.
