After announcing that they were expecting their first child together back in August, Gucci and his wife Keyshia Ka'oir Davis, took to Instagram on Wednesday night to share that their baby boy Ice Davis, is “here!!!!!!!”
In the post, the already proud papa, who shares a 12-year-old son with his ex Sheena Evans, expressed his excitement for his newest bundle and love for his queen. “My wife just gave me a 7lb 1 oz baby boy his name ICE DAVIS 12/23/20 thank you MrsDavis ❤️🏹 he’s here!!!!!!!”
Additionally, 5 days ahead of Ice's arrival, Gucci uncharacteristically shared a sonogram pic of their son saying, ”Wow my son bout to look just like me.”
Remaining relatively private throughout her pregnancy Keyshia, who has two daughters and a son from a previous relationship, has always chosen to keep her children off her social media, as she explained to The Breakfast Club shortly after their wedding back in 2017. “Gucci and I both have children," she said. "It's a situation where I'm proud to be a mother, but I need it to be private. I don't need the kids in the limelight. I don't want them on social media. I need them to go to school and just be children.”
After seven years of dating, the two were married in October 2017. Their wedding ceremony, which took place more than a year after Gucci's prison release, was documented in a BET special titled The Mane Event.
