Their tour marks the first jaunt for the band since Dave Grohl released his brand new memoir The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music.

Grohl recently spoke with Audacy about the making of the book and it’s exactly as Dave Grohl-y as you would expect. We mean that with the utmost respect. “The challenge [in writing the book] was deciding what to write and what not to write,” he said.

“There’s so much! I was like 300 pages in and I hadn’t even mentioned the Foo Fighters yet. I was like, ‘Oh My God!’ I've been in this band for 26 years, if I don’t write about it my guys are going to kill me!”
