A Chauvin Louisiana school cafeteria worker is arrested for allegedly hosting sleepovers for juvenile boys where they watched pornography, drank alcohol, and had sexual encounters with the woman.
Sheriff Tim Soignet says 38-year-old Dawn Marie Baye, who was a cafeteria worker at a local school where she met some of the victims, would invite them over for sleepover parties where the indecent behavior with the juveniles took place. The alleged sleepover parties happened at Baye’s home. The ages of the boys were between 13 and 16 years of age.
A parent of one of the juveniles involved filed a complaint with the sheriff’s office back in late April.
“Detectives conducted several interviews and the facts of this investigation were very consistent along with recovering information that was shared on social media,” said Sheriff Soignet.
Baye was arrested for 10 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and 8 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile. She was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex and her bond was set at $50,000.00.
