Across his three-hour set, John welcomed numerous special guests including Killers’ frontman, Brandon Flowers for a performance of “Tiny Dancer,” Rina Sawayama for "Don't Go Breaking My Heart,” and Gabriels’ member, Jacob Lusk for “Are You Ready For Love.” Elton also pleased fans with a cover of "Pinball Wizard" by The Who, and an emotional rendition of “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” in tribute to George Michael on what would have been his 60th birthday.

The set was broadcast via BBC [British Broadcasting Corporation] with more than 7 million fans tuning in to take part in the farewell festivities from their homes. That, in addition to the thousands who joined in person.

Glastonbury was initially scheduled to be Elton’s final farewell to the stage, however, the singer-songwriter actually has 7 more performances to fulfill after they were rescheduled along his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.

Elton is scheduled to take the stage for two make-up shows in Paris (June 27-28), two in Zurich (July 1-2), Copenhagen (July 5) and two in Stockholm (July 7-8).
