Meg Ryan is back to the type of movies that made her a household name.
Ryan directed and stars in “What Happens Later,” a romantic comedy about exes stranded at an airport together.
The movie features Willa (Ryan) and Bill (David Duchovny), the pair of exes who get snowed in at an airport overnight.
According to the movie’s website, the former couple “find themselves just as attracted to and annoyed by one another as they did decades earlier.”
The two have to spend the night in close quarters together and “begin to wonder if their reunion is mere coincidence, or something more enchanted.”
The movie marks the second film Ryan has directed, after 2015’s “Ithaca.”
“What Happens Later” will hit theaters Oct. 13.
