Following his latest round of surgery stemming from an early 2000s ATV accident and subsequent difficulties in his healing process -- including "botched" procedures -- Ozzy is still looking on the bright side. He's even got plans to hit the road at some point, as the singer tells Metal Hammer in a recent interview, "I want to do one more album and then go back on the road."
Regarding any new music on the horizon, Ozzy revealed, "I’m just starting to work on it now, and we’ll be recording in the early part of next year." He adds, "I want to take my time with this one!" Osbourne's most recent release was his 2022 star-studded, GRAMMY-winning, Andrew Watt-helmed, Patient Number 9.
"I’ve had all the surgery now, thank god,” Osbourne expounds during the interview. “I’m feeling okay – it was just dragging on. I thought I’d be back on my feet months ago," he adds. "I just couldn’t get used to this mode of living, constantly having something wrong."
Fans still have some waiting to do before seeing Ozzy on any concert announcements or guest appearances, as he says he, "can’t walk properly yet." But the good news is he's "not in any pain anymore" and he says the surgery on his spine "went great.” Read more from the interview here.
