Fans of the insufferable personality that Curb Your Enthusiasm creator and star Larry David exudes, and the odd stylings of '90s rockers The Presidents of the United States of America crashed into each other on a recent episode of the HBO smash.
During the Curb episode in question, actor Dylan O’Brien performs a terrible rendition of The Presidents' 1996 hit "Peaches," and Larry was, as one could expect, not much a fan of the song.

In the clip below, happily shared by The President's singer Chris Ballew on his Instagram page, David is seen accosting O’Brien after his set, asking if he “wrote that ‘Peaches’ song.” When O’Brien says no, Larry responds, “What would prompt a person to sing such an idiotic song?”
O’Brien quips back not at all sarcastically, “because the way it’s aged 20 years later. Do you see how relevant it is now?”
Although the band dissolved in 2016, Ballew, who has been writing, recording, and releasing children's music under the name Caspar Babypants since 2009, was thrilled to be somewhat mentioned in the episode and commented that he is "complete now that I have received Larry David's scorn."
For those interested, Ballew just released his final Caspar Babypants album (there are 19 in total!) on November 5, and revealed plans to continue working on "making psychedelic music for grown-ups" in the meantime.
