Study shows that Billie Eilish, Harry Styles know a lot of words

We all know, and embrace, the unique style and personalities of singers like Billie Eilish and Harry Styles, but now they're both being commended for the extraordinary vocabularies that they employ in their respective music.

Following the release of her brand new album Happier Than Ever, Eilish has been added to the top of Wordtips' list of modern pop stars who have the most amount of unique words in their songs.

Adding up the number of eccentric terms used in their lyrics per 1,000, Billie tops the list with 169 distinctive words per 1000, while Styles is second with 159, and Lizzo comes up third with 153.

It should be noted that at the other end of the modern lyrical spectrum, Meghan TrainorCarly Rae Jepsen, and "Mr. Steal Your Girl" Trey Songz came in at the bottom of the list with 72, 69, and, 66 unique words per 1000 respectively.

Wordtips’ analysis also includes the most notable lyricists ever; their "greatest artists of all time" file includes singers Patti Smith with 217 unique words per 1000, Joni Mitchell with 199, Björk with 197, and The DoorsJim Morrison with 177.
