You know that sweetly-sad pottery scene in the 1990 Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze film Ghost that turned out way more creepy than the filmmakers likely intended? Well, the band Ghost has stepped in, and wants you to hold their beer.

In an adorable little Valentine's Day video, "late" Ghost singer Papa Nihil plays the now ultra-creepy role made famous by actual late actor Patrick Swayze, as he joins Sister Imperator for some sexy clay action. The clip comes with the caption, "We wish to inform you the love inside, you take it with you... Happy Valentine's Day."
As the band's confusing lore goes, Papa Nihil was the group’s frontman during 2019's Seven Inches of Satanic Panic release, which claims to be remastered versions of songs recorded in 1969. Stay with us...
Papa Nihil was apparently an item with Sister Imperator, and "died" while wailing on a saxophone in March of 2020 during the band’s performance of “Miasma” in Mexico City. Deep breath... Just check out the couple's chemistry in the band's video for “Dance Macabre” for more.
This, of course, is all a reminder that Ghost returned with brand new music at the beginning of 2022, offering fans the single "Call Me Little Sunshine" from their forthcoming album Impera, set for release on March 11.
"I’m very happy with being back, it feels very nice after this long dormancy," frontman Tobias Forge told us in a recent chat. Watch our Audacy Check In with Ghost, and see a list of the band's current tour dates right here.
