This year, Beyoncé and JAY-Z did’t bless us with their presence at The Met Gala. Instead, the Hip Hop royal couple opted for a European getaway on a yacht in Cannes, France. And while the occasion wasn’t fashion’s biggest night, it’s Bey, so you already know there was plenty of style.

Alerting us that she would not be making a stateside return in time for the soirée, Bey dropped three photo dumps of her glamorous European va-slay-tion just a few hours before the gala.
In the first series of pics, Bey showed off her Valentino fit in the first six pics, opting for a loved up couple shot to finish of the slideshow. Oh and umm yeah… That is in fact a personalized tag with her name hand-sewn into the skirt.
Wearing a peach-colored David Koma crystal chain wrap minidress, paired with The Attico block mules in orange and custom Philó sunglasses in the next series, once again Bey gave the outfit the attention it deserves. While also featuring a bit more representation of JAY-Z, while both out and about and chillin on the yacht.
In the last set, Bey gave us a pinup moment in a orange-and-white gabardine romper by Rowen Rose, while her and her bae sipped from dainty white teacups on the yacht's deck.
Having turned 40 on September 4, we’re guessing Beyoncé and her fam decided to keep the birthday Bey-cation celebration going instead of pressing pause to spend a night at The Met. And with all this content coming our way, we’re not even mad about it.
