Free agency hasn't exactly been a whirlwind of excitement for the Celtics. But one familiar name has popped up that might elicit a bit of intrigue.
According to multiple reports, the Celtics are one of the teams showing interest in veteran Danny Green.
The 34-year-old Green, who is in the midst of a 12-year NBA career, has history with Celtics head coach Ime Udoka from their days together in San Antonio. The Bucks, Bulls and Pelicans are also thought to be in the mix for the veteran swingman.
The 6-foot-6 Green played last season for the Sixers, averaging 7.9 points and 28 minutes per game. He was part of the Lakers' world championship team in the 2020-21 season.
