NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Demaryius Thomas, whose nine-season career as a wide receiver included four Pro Bowl nods with the Denver Broncos, has died. He was 33.

Police told TMZ that officers on Thursday night found Thomas in his home in Roswell, Georgia, located about 30 minutes north of Atlanta.

Citing police, TMZ reported that "preliminary reports" suggest Thomas' death stemmed from a "medical issue." A very close cousin, LaTonya Bonseigneur, told The Associated Press that family members believe he may have died from a seizure, which Bonseigneur says the former wideout had been suffering from "for over a year" (via Jeff Legwold of ESPN).

There are no indications of foul play, police said.

Thomas entered the league with the Broncos after they selected him with the No. 22 overall pick of the 2010 Draft. Just three seasons in, he had established himself as a top-tier wideout, earning his first Pro Bowl nomination and the first of his five 1,000-yard seasons in 2012. He won a Super Bowl ring with Denver in 2015, staying there until a midseason trade sent him to the Texans in 2018. Following that stint with Houston, he was signed by the Patriots, who then flipped him to the Jets, where he closed out his career.

Miles Barrett, a producer with Fox 5 in Atlanta, first broke the news of Thomas' death.
