Unfortunately, Celtics forward Gordon Hayward is no stranger to gruesome leg injuries like the one Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suffered Sunday.
Prescott suffered a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle when he was tackled by Giants cornerback (and former Patriot) Logan Ryan in the third quarter of Sunday's game.
Back in Oct. 2017, Hayward suffered a fractured tibia and ankle dislocation just minutes into his Celtics career when he landed awkwardly after an attempted alley-oop.
On Twitter Tuesday, Hayward offered his support to Prescott, saying that one of the things that helped him was talking to Paul George, who had suffered a compound leg fracture during a Team USA scrimmage in 2014.
Prescott left the hospital Monday after successful surgery Sunday night and is said to be in good spirits.
