6 rings: Patriots @ Dolphins Week 8 Preview
Most of the Patriots traveled to Miami on Saturday morning ahead of their 1 p.m. contest versus the Dolphins on Sunday. Linebacker Josh Uche did not.
Along with offensive lineman Vederian Lowe, Uche was ruled OUT of Sunday's contest due to a lingering toe and ankle injury.
A limited participant in practice all week, Uche's absence this weekend comes amid reported trade interest for the linebacker across the league. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Uche is a name to watch ahead of next Tuesday's trade deadline.
The 2020 third-round pick is headed into a contract year and has reportedtly not had conversations of late about an extension. Uche had a career season in 2022 tallying 11.5 sacks and 27 tackles for loss.
