Former Patriots WR Julian Edelman to join FOX Sports Sunday programming this Fall

FOX Sports officially has a trifecta of former Patriots working for them, as the media conglomerate announced on Thursday that three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman will join their Fox NFL Kickoff show this Fall. The Super Bowl LIII MVP now joins Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski as Fox Sports media members.

Edelman will join Charissa Thompson, Charles Woodson, Michael Vick and Peter Schrager on the show airing airing on Sunday’s at 11 a.m. EST.

“We are thrilled to welcome Julian Edelman to the FOX Sports family,” FOX Sports; President of Production & Operations and Executive Producer Brad Zager said in the company’s press release. “His passion for the game, experience as a Super Bowl champion, and ability to connect with fans will unquestionably make him a valuable addition to our team, both on and off the screen.”

“Joining FOX Sports is a dream come true,” Edelman said of joining the broadcast. “I grew up watching the NFL on FOX on Sundays, and now being an analyst for FOX NFL KICKOFF feels full circle. Twelve years in this league has given me insight and opinions that I’m eager to share alongside the talented FOX NFL cast and crew.”

Edelman has already dipped his toes in the media world, working on Paramount +’s Inside the NFL and starting the Game with Names podcast with comedian Sam Morrill. He'll fit right in on FOX.
