December and January are the months for coaching changes and usually there are a few Patriots coaches in the mix for a few openings.
This year is no different as quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch appears to be in the mix for the University of Arizona head-coaching job following Kevin Sumlin being fired a few weeks ago.
According to Jason Scheer of WildcatAuthority.com, Fisch interviewed for the job Monday.
Fisch, 44, has a great deal of coaching experience both in the NFL and in college, but has hasn't ever been a head coach. His most recent college experience came in 2017 when he was UCLA's offensive coordinator.
Josh McDaniels' name has already come up when it comes to some NFL head-coaching vacancies.
