Super Bowl 56, and the 2021 NFL season, are barely in the books, and action is already being laid on next season’s title game.

Shortly after the Rams sealed the win and the confetti fell, odds for Super Bowl 57 were released across a number of sportsbooks. Kansas City and Buffalo, contestants in the wildest game of the 2021 postseason, opened as favorites (+700) to reach the next edition of “The Big Game”, with Super Bowl 56 participants Los Angeles and Cincinnati not far behind. To be expected given most teams return a lot of talent that got them so far this season.

As for your New England Patriots? They opened with 25:1 odds (+2500) to win Super Bowl 57, ranking them tied for 12th overall with three other teams. Some sites had them as low as 24-to-1, some as high as 28-to-1. Those are playoff-caliber odds for sure, encouraging in light of all the work ahead of the team this coming offseason. A nod of confidence in coach Bill Belichick and the development of QB Mac Jones, for sure.

Also of note to Pats fans, Super Bowl LVII is scheduled to be played Sunday February 12, 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona ... a familiar title site for the Patriots for sure.
