It was a bad sign when Ray Allen showed up with his insanely short tie.

Can Tatum lead the Celtics to a championship?

The NBA Hall of Famer was in attendance for Game 6 of the NBA Finals, strolling in with Paul Pierce, who was just coming off his own insane night at the Garden. There was a time not long ago when Allen wasn’t welcome in Boston, but he’s mended his relationship with Kevin Garnett and other members of the 2008 championship team. Allen was present at Garnett’s jersey retirement ceremony in March.

He was also present to see the Warriors defeat the Celtics 103-90 and win their fourth NBA title in eight years. Fittingly, Allen had a front row seat for Steph Curry’s barrage of insane 3-pointers, including one at the end of the first quarter.

Allen is one of the best shooters in NBA history and rode a silky smooth shot all the way to 10 All-Star appearances. His game on the court was great.

His tie game, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It looks like a clip-on from the toddler section.

But hey, at least Allen didn’t allow any junk food to spill on his little tie. He’s a physical specimen who takes his appearance seriously.

Except for what he wears around his neck, apparently.
