If you were waiting for the Celtics to get Aaron Gordon from Orlando in addition to Evan Fournier -- whom they reportedly acquired earlier Thursday -- it's not going to happen.
Despite numerous reports linking the Celtics to Gordon over the past week, multiple reports now say Gordon is going to the Denver Nuggets instead.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Denver is sending Gary Harris, RJ Hampton and a first-round pick to Orlando in the deal, which seems like more than the Celtics probably would have been willing to give up.
The trade deadline is 3 p.m. Thursday, so we will see if Danny Ainge does anything else, or if Fournier is the only deal he makes.
