Asante Samuel keeps trolling Bill Belichick, and at least one former teammate isn’t amused.

Tedy Bruschi, who spent 13 seasons with the Patriots and witnessed Asante Samuel drop what would’ve been the game-sealing interception in Super Bowl XLII, called out the aggrieved cornerback for his persistent anti-Belichick commentary.

On Tuesday, Samuel tweeted “Belichick is starting to show you he is an average coach without Brady,” complete with the sunglasses emoji.

Bruschi fired back with some emojis of his own.

Samuel has been publicly ripping Belichick for years. The former Patriots cornerback started when he played with the Eagles, claiming that Belichick harbored a grudge against him. Samuel signed a five-year, $56 million deal with Philadelphia in 2008.

Over the summer, Samuel questioned the veracity of the so-called “Patriot Way.

In that podcast interview, Samuel said Tom Brady was responsible for the franchise’s mystique and aura. “It don’t matter what decisions you can make,” said Samuel. “Who’s next up to bring in from free agency? Can they pass the test? Bring them in and make sure they can make it to the fourth quarter. That’s all we need is somebody, because we got Tom, everything is gonna work. I saw it with my own eyes. I’m not joking. This is the truth.”

The Patriots have gone 19-21 in the three seasons since Brady left.
