"She doesn't have control over her muscles," Claudette tells 7 Jours, via translation, regarding her sister's current battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, which can cause uncontrollable muscle spasms. "What breaks my heart is that she's always been disciplined. She's always worked hard," she continued. "Our mother always told her, 'You're going to do it well, you're going to do it properly.'"

Dion, amid her 2023 Courage World Tour, canceled a number of dates to put all of her focus on recovery, after being diagnosed in December of 2022. "I'm working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you're 100%," Celine explained when revealing the decision to pause her touring schedule.

"In both our dreams and hers, the goal is to return to the stage," Claudette added. "In what capacity? I don't know."

In the meantime, Claudette says their sister Linda has been living with Celine in the Las Vegas area as she receives treatment.
