Your Guide to Celebrating St. Patrick's Day 2024 in and around Philadelphia

St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner! From family fun, to classic crawls, and so much more, here's your guide on where to celebrate the holiday in and around Philadelphia.

FAMILY FUN, PARADES + RUNS


Philadelphia's St. Patrick's Day Parade is back! The parade will be hold on Sunday, Match 10 at 11:00 AM at 16th and JFK Blvd, and is set to end at 5th & Market St. The parade will broadcast on CBS3 at 12PM until 3PM, will rebroadcast on Friday, March 15th from 9AM until 12PM, and Sunday March 17th from 12PM until 3PM.

Despite St. Paddy's Day actually occurring on Sunday, March 17th, Philadelphia's St. Patrick's Day parade will take place one week prior. The parade starts at 11 a.m. at 16th and JFK Boulevard, goes clockwise around City Hall then down Market, ends at 6th and Market streets. (Or watch it on Philly 57.)

Celebrate the luck o' the Irish at Shady Brook Farm's family-friendly St. Paddy Party. Enjoy live music, Irish food, locally brewed craft beer, wines & spirits. Plus, there's a playground for the kiddos, a balloon artist, and more!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Peddler's Village presents Celebrate the Green, a mid-March opportunity to enjoy special menus, live entertainment, and a kid-friendly scavenger hunt! Stop by from Friday, March 15th through Sunday, March 17th to enjoy the festivities.

The Shamrock Shuffle is more than your typical 5k. Run through historic Newtown, and keep the party going by shuffling through Newtown where participating bars, restaurants, and shops will be offering specials and giveaways.

The Bucks County St. Patrick's Day parade returns on Saturday, March 16th! Starting at 10:30 AM, the parade begins at Conwell Egan Catholic High School and will end at 8720 New Falls Road.

The 11th annual Conshohocken St. Paddy's Day 5K Classic returns on Saturday, March 16th! Registration is open now, and the race kicks off at 12:30 PM. Join the fun as the event helps raise funds for the Conshohocken Fire Co. #2. Awards will be distributed for overall, age groups, and best costumes at 1:45 PM at the Fire House located at 819 Fayette Street.

The Great Narberth Leprechaun Hunt returns! This free scavenger hunt for kids starts off by going to the :Blarney" Booth at the corner of Haverford and Forrest Ave to get a game card with clues and an empty black plastic pot-o'-gold. Search through the town to find hidden leprechauns, get "gold" coins, and claim prizes at the end of the hunt!

Run through Peddler's Village for their annual Shake Your Shamrock Run. The run kicks off at 9:45 AM, and tickets are available now.

CRAWLS, FESTIVITIES, PARTIES, AND MORE

Did you know Philadelphia has a new, seasonal pop-up bar? The Green Elephant has completely transformed into a green wonderland with a ten-foot-long rainbow, Irish drinks, specialty cocktails and more at 1500 Locust St.

Don't miss this lucky block party in Philadelphia! Featuring live music, good eats, and local vendors, this family-friendly Saint Paddy's Block Party has it all. Enjoy free activities, face painting, and an outdoor inflatable Irish Pub at 1727 Front St.

The three-day Kiss Me, I'm Irish Bar Crawl is taking over Philadelphia! From Friday, March 15th through Sunday March 17th, the festivities are endless. The crawl starts at 1113 Market Street.
