At 74-years-old, and amid a still-successful 60-year career, Monmouth County’s own Bruce Springsteen is now the latest musician to officially reach “Billionaire” status according to Forbes, with an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion.

The news arrived just before the weekend, as Forbes reported Springsteen’s impressive net worth was helped along recently by the sale of his extensive catalog -- 21 official studio albums -- to Sony in 2021 for a reported $550 million, as well as his 2023 recent sold-out tour which generated a whopping $380 million after selling over 1.6 million tickets.

Singing about his "blue-collar roots" has certainly proven to be a recipe for success for "The Boss" over his storied career, and there are no hints at all that he's planning on punching his time card for one final shift any time soon.

Springsteen joins the likes of fellow artists Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, the late Jimmy Buffett, Mary J. Blige, and more on Forbes’ list of billionaire celebrities.
