PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A driver reportedly suffered a medical emergency Sunday night and hit several people who were watching the sunset at the beach in Lower Township, Cape May County.
Two families were watching the sunset at the Delaware Bay when investigators say a woman driving a car lost control and hit another car. The car sped toward the bay, striking a woman sitting on a bench before ending up in the water.
Two people were taken to the hospital by a medical helicopter, and three others were taken by ambulance.
The extent of their injuries is unknown.
