Well, Little Batman wasn’t about to let Swole Batman have all the cred, because later in the game, DeVonta Smith became the Eagles’ all-time single-season leader in catches by a wide receiver, nabbing his 89th to pass Irving Fryar's 88 in 1996 for the most by a wideout.

That came on a nine-yard pass that was, fittingly, the first play of the Eagles’ second drive, which ended in a field goal.

The grab also pushed Smith past Jordan Matthews for the most receptions by an Eagle in their first two seasons (they were tied at 152), and later in the game, on his first catch of the second half, Smith passed DeSean Jackson for the most receiving yards by an Eagle in their first two seasons, as his 2,084 surpassed Jackson’s 2,068.

Smith finished the game with seven catches for 67 yards, leaving him second on the single-season catch list overall with 95, behind only Zach Ertz’s record 116 in 2018. Those totals give him 159 grabs for 2,112 yards in his first two seasons.

Those two-season marks (and maybe the single-season one, too) may not stand long, though, as Brown finished his season with 88 catches - which is now tied with Fryar and Ertz for third-most in a season - for a team record 1,496 yards.
