Donovan McNabb was impressed by the Jalen Hurts and the Eagles' offense in Sunday's win over the Dolphins, crediting the success to a balanced attack.

"I think Jalen played well and I say that because it was a balanced game," McNabb told Jon Marks and Ike Reese on Monday's 94WIP Afternoon Show. "It was a balanced game because he utilized his legs when he needed to, he was efficient in the passing game. Early on in the game, you saw Dallas [Goedert] getting involved...we utilized [D'Andre] Swift in the passing game a little bit more, DeVonta Smith early on in the game was getting his touches and creating big plays. And then obviously we know with A.J. Brown being the number one receiver, then we can go to our guy. Overall, the first seven to eight plays of the game, there were, I believe, five running back calls that you seen D'Andre Swift carrying the football. And when you do that you soften up the defense because they know they have to stop our run."

Last week during his appearance on the Marks & Reese Show, McNabb made comments stating he believed the Eagles' offense has changed to feature Brown more since his Week 2 confrontation with Hurts.

Brown did not like those comments and responded on X.

Hurts threw for 279 yards and A.J. Brown was on the other end of 137 of them, recording his NFL record-tying fifth straight 125-plus yard game.

When asked about Brown's post on X, McNabb said he would be happy to have the Eagles' No. 1 WR join his podcast any time to discuss anything.
